Divorce Online
If you know you want to get divorced, or that you want to dissolve your civil partnership, and this is agreed between you both, you can decide on the level of support you would like whilst completing the paperwork in your own home.
Our online divorce/civil partnership dissolution packs enable you to complete the process yourself by guiding you, step-by-step, through the process of completing the necessary forms.
Once a form has been completed, one of our qualified lawyers will check through it for you to ensure that it has been correctly filled-in.
Depending upon how much support you feel you need, Richard Nelson LLP is able to offer you two levels of online service.
Option One
If your matter is a straight forward one and you are happy to complete the forms with only the online guidance, then our fee of £96 including VAT will give you:
- A complete set of the papers you need to obtain your divorce/civil partnership dissolution*;
- Online guidance to help you complete the papers*;
- Your papers checked for you by a qualified lawyer before you send them to the Court*.
Option Two
If, however, you wish to have the security of additional support we offer a further service.
For an additional £200 including VAT you can have the security of telephone and email support from a qualified lawyer, at any stage of the transaction, helping you to complete the forms and deal with any queries relating to completing the forms that arise. In addition, we will give you access to our online Will drafting service so that you can complete a new Will* to reflect your changed marital/civil partnership status at the end of the proceedings.
Simply select the check-box entitled "Support and back-up" when you come to the payment screen and we will add the cost of the telephone/email support to your online payment. We will then contact you to let you know how you can access the telephone/email support.
Try before you buy
If you are having doubts as to whether the online service is for you, then we give you the opportunity to see how easy it is to complete the forms using our system by trying out one of the forms before you commit to buying. Simply click on the relevant "Try before you buy" button below if you want to see how the forms work and whether you would be happy choosing this service.
