Collaborative Law

Collaborative Law is a well established way for separating couples, whether they are married, civil partners or living together, to resolve disputes without confrontation.

With the support and guidance of a specially trained collaborative family lawyer, parties have more control over what is happening and a greater opportunity to be listened to by the other party involved.

Instead of using lawyers and the courts to impose timetables and agendas, parties agree to meet in a series of face to face meetings with each of their lawyers to resolve issues without going to court. This means that the focus can be on dealing with what is important to both parties at a pace that is agreed to and with agendas set by the parties.
