Findings by the DfT are somewhat pessimistic about whether Post Court Disposal Courses will work, noting that some more serious driving offenders see their penalties as a result of bad luck or overemphasis by society on motoring offending, rather than due to illegal or dangerous driving on their part.
1 October 2010- Revalidation and Recertification – The Future
The GMC envisage that licences to practice will be introduced in October 2009 subject to renewal every five years. In order to obtain a licence, doctors will have to demonstrate they adhere to Good Medical Practice, maintain adequate professional indemnity or insurance and participate in revalidation.
